    Great beer

Posted by Robin on 31st Jul 2021

I came across Handsome beers while on holiday in the Lake District, in the Co-op in Chapel Stile, which is not too far from the brewery itself. The two beers, Hare Bitter and Top Knot are both lovely beers and, at 3.9% and 3.7%, they are not too strong to stop you having a few. They both have a caramel-ey taste, with Top Knot being slightly zingier.

Very warmly recommended (but keep the beer cool).

The Lake District is quite a long way from my home, so I was delighted to see Hops and Shots were selling the beers online. They come very well packed and the delivery was very quick. Congratulations to them for making beers from small breweries more widely available.
