Hops and Shots are delighted to Welcome Twisted Wheel Brewing Company to our brewery partner family, a relatively new brewery based up the road in Wigan
Twisted Wheel was borne out of our love of great beers and Northern Soul. They opened their doors in October, 2019 supplying cask beers to their growing customer base of pubs throughout the North of England. However, with COVID-19 coming into full-force in Feb 2020, it seemed as though the rug was pulled from under their feet just as they were getting into their stride. As a lot of businesses have had to do, they’ve changed focus and have made big improvements to their brew-plant and recipes, now brewing the best beers they’ve ever produced. They’re building up a loyal following of customers in the shape of bottle shops, tap rooms and individuals, placing them in a much stronger position for when things return to normal. They will be continuing to adapt and bring out new beers throughout 2020 and beyond.
We are chuffed to be working with Twisted Wheel, they are a local brewery, have some fantastic can designs, and have sensational beers. I'm pleased they are on board and looking forward to helping them get their beers in the hands of craft beer drinkers, not only in the North West, but throughout the UK.

The brewery have seven beers to be in the current range, Speed Wobble 4.7% IPA, Hoodoo Voodoo 6.5% IPA, Velvet Bomber Chocolate Stout at 10%, Sunday Sessions Pale Ale 3.8%, Kick Down 8.0% Double IPA, Soul City New England IPA at 6.5%, and Suede Head Coffee Porter 6.5%
